What used to be an ambitious dream for Bohol is slowly unfolding into a reality, and this weekend, it awaits.
SEE Bohol Bazaar poses itself as the grandest bazaar this Christmas season. With a name that means Shop, Eat, Explore Bohol, the SEE Bohol Bazaar is bound to be a single stop for those who wish to scour for local products, relish on local food and entertainment, and enjoy the weekend away.
SEE Bohol Bazaar is organized by POPUP CLUB EVENTS, a group of friends, mostly bloggers and vloggers, who have been organizing events in their hometown Tubigon as well as in Cebu. The organizers aim to showcase Bohol and all that it can offer, empower the youth through engagement, and help start-up business promote their products and services.
There will be six micro events that will run throughout the two-day grand bazaar. This includes a workshop on blogging and vlogging, among others, and will be conducted by some of the more established names in the Cebu and Bohol blogging scene.
Add up to the excitement is the presence of celebrity bloggers and vloggers and social media influencers who will grace the event on both days. Among them will be Dani Barreto, the blogger sister of Kapamilya actress Julia Barreto; vlogger and ex-PBB Housemate Baninay Bautista; and Anjo Damiles who we remember was Julia Montez’s leading man in the hit afternoon drama Doble Kara.
A workshop, bazaar, food festival with live acoustic bands, and a celebrity meet and greet all in one place and one event. The SEE Bohol Bazaar is definitely one of the biggest events to cap the year and the best part of the trade is that access is very much affordable. Regular tickets cost only Php75, Php25 of which is consumable. Those who wish to attend the two-day workshop may score their tickets at Php150, Php 25 of which is consumable and that will include free meals and a certificate. Afford much!
In for a fun-filled weekend full of pleasantries and learning? Head to the Poblacion II Cultural Center (just below JJ’s Seafood Village/ K of C) this coming December 16 to 17 from 12 noon until 9pm.
Ambitious as it may first seem but for the dreamers behind Bohol’s grandest weekend bazaar this year, nothing is beyond reach. And we are just mere winks away from experiencing what Bohol has to offer as we shop, eat, and explore all in an event like no other.
